EDITORIAL DESIGN

Magazine Cover. Two Eyes, red background, and "The Change" in white and bold

Process
This editorial design project explores the transformation of advertising from posters to digital illusions. To show how unimaginable today’s tools such as CGI, AI and VFX would have been only a few decades ago, I created collages that merge vintage imagery with contemporary digital aesthetics. By combining analog textures with surreal digital elements, I aimed to blur the boundaries between past and present and to capture the tension between authenticity and illusion.

Result
The final outcome is a series of collages in the editorial design that combines nostalgic fragments with hyper realistic digital motifs and CGI that was used in advertising. They invite the viewer to reflect on the cultural shift from handcrafted posters to a digital and never ending spectacle, while also questioning the fine line between fascination and deception. The work visualises how advertising continues to redefine our perception of reality, balancing between creative innovation and critical commentary.
