Process
This page shows two eco-friendly packaging concepts focused on sustainability and timeless design. For the Spongebox, developed with Nikki Ullrich, unnecessary plastic was eliminated: the cellulose sponge comes with biodegradable drip cups coated with plant-based material from sugar cane, offering a waterproof, eco-friendly alternative to PET. For the dog food brand Gshund, I designed neutral, timeless packaging highlighting the treats’ natural qualities using clear pictograms, authentic photography, and an Austrian origin label. Both projects replaced conventional plastics with biodegradable or renewable materials, supporting a green vision. Both designs were developed with precision to convey the intended vibe, then executed in Illustrator and cut and scored using a laser cutter.
Result
The result is functional, aesthetic, and sustainable packaging. Spongebox offers a durable, eco-friendly sponge with renewable drip cups, avoiding single-use plastic. Gshund communicates health, authenticity, and domestic quality, featuring a biodegradable window. Both designs are fully recyclable and biodegradable, showing that eco-responsibility and strong visual design can coexist, reflecting my commitment to environmentally conscious, appealing packaging.
